Anonymous asks: Hi! My son is about to start at Northeastern. How's the vegetarian and vegan food in the cafeterias on campus?

First of all, congrats to your son! Northeastern is an amazing school and I’m sure he’ll love it as much as I do. The vegan and vegetarian food at the school is surprisingly great. The three dining halls all have reliable options. International Village has a vegan/vegetarian station that always has falafel and veggie burgers, and then pastas/salads/tofu that changes daily. Stetson West’s specialty is make-your-own stir fry, with lots of veggies and tofu as options. But Stetson East is my favorite dining hall. It has the biggest salad bar and an entire room devoted to vegan dining (and the world’s best baked maple sweet potatoes!) And of course each dining hall has a salad bar.

They actually post the food offered daily on http://www.nudining.com/ so you can start checking it out now to get a good idea!
