I am the self-proclaimed smoothie queen. Green smoothies are my usual go-to, but this purple power smoothie is a close second:
- 1C unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4C frozen blueberries
- 1 banana
- 1/2C sliced beets (canned)

This is the first time in a LONG time that I’ve made a non-green smoothie. I actually couldn’t tell you the last time I made I smoothie that wasn’t green… Oh well, this one was delicious. Secret ingredient? Coconut milk, the canned kind. Makes it a little extra creamy, and a lot more tropical.
Blend blend blend!


1) Fill blender (I use a Magic Bullet) with desired ice.
2) Pour in your coffee, then your almond milk.
3) Add agave syrup and blend away!
Oh, and did I mention that its less than 100 calories? I’ll be living off these this summer.
